E-mail & Computer Accounts

Your student ID number is needed to create your on-line account. Students are assigned a random student ID number that is available through the Registrar's Office. A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is also required to obtain a UNIX account. PINs are assigned at the time of acceptance into a program. Non-degree students and students who don't know their PIN should e-mail registrar@wpi.edu to request their PIN. Once you know your ID number and PIN, you can create your UNIX account online. If you are an inactive student for more than one semester, you will need to re-create your account.
